E-Wen Huang is a professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and a Group Leader in the Research & Development Division at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Materials Letters and as an Editorial Board Member of the Scientific Reports, respectively. Dr. Huang achieves Senior HEA Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. His area of expertise is in the field of advanced characterization using neutron and synchrotron x-ray for materials science, with emphasis on mechanical behavior, thermodynamics, and kinetics. He and his group develop different techniques across multiple scales to investigate the behavior of multi-principal element alloys, additive manufactured materials, and composites.
